Since 2015, brothers Matt and John Williams have taken something they love and made it their mission to share with the Queen City!

Born and raised in Puerto Rico, they moved to Charlotte to attend their alma mater- Johnson & Wales University. Focusing on Culinary Arts and Hospitlity Mangement. Not long after graduation, Rico’s Açaí was born! Becoming Charlotte’s Original Açaí bowl shop.

With Matt’s passion for fresh, whole foods and John’s dedication to an awesome customer experience and growing business.

Together, they have grown Rico’s Açaí into a Charlotte staple.
